We're seeking a technical co-founder to lead the back-end software development for our suite of targeted social networks.

Responsibilities:

Design and build scalable social networking software

Experience:

You have a strong programming background—you probably learned to program *before* college.
You've worked on web sites at scale and know how to design for scalability.
You've worked with development teams and understand agile and scrum practices.

Skills:

You know Django inside and out and can answer any question that appears on django-users.
You know jQuery but aren't afraid of XMLHttpRequest and getElementById.
You know the difference between git pull and git fetch. You understand git rebase.
You know MySQL but you understand that relational databases are not always the best way to persist data.
You live and breathe Mac.

Compensation:

You should be prepared to receive no salary for 3 months, followed by a modest salary that will cover your expenses. Within one year you can expect a competitive salary.

As a co-founder, you will receive a significant stake in the company.
